SKILL CONSULTANCY AND SUPPORT FOR STUDENT INTERNSHIP SEMINAR
In the trend of economic integration, the issue of internship and employment are the unspeakable distress to many last year students. Foreseeing that, in the morning of October 5, 2014, , Vietnamese Students’ Association of Faculty of Finance and Banking has successfully organized The Skills Consultancy and Support for Student Internship Seminar at room A. 610 UEL, Linh Xuan Ward, Thu Duc Distric. Attracting nearly 100 students in and outside the Faculty attended.
Coming to the seminar, invited guests are : Mr. Nguyen Anh Phong-Lecturer of Faculty of Finance and Banking, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Giang-Trainer at the Talisman Energy Vietnam company, Mr. Mai Ngoc Anh-Client relations specialist at Vietcombank.
Through the seminar, the involved students have understood the training skill needs, the essential attention for writing effective reports and become confident, energetic and flexibility for the internship. Besides, students also can interact with professors and alumni.
More particularly, to help the students have experience of a internship interview, 3 students was allowed to be interviewed directly by the guests.
The seminar ended in the conviction of the involved students. Create the premise for the connection between the Alumni and last year students.
Hopefully in the future, Vietnamese Students’ Association of Faculty of Finance and Banking will hold more programs to connect students with businesses.
