Doctoral program in Economics of Finance and Banking aims to train scientists, researchers, educators and policy managers specialized in finance and banking. The program has started since 2007 with an annual enrollment of 2 – 4 students. Currently, the Faculty is training more than ten students with one of them successfully defending his doctoral dissertation under institution level, two under expertise level and are about to have their formal thesis defense. Some students are conducting their research under the Faculty's supervision while searching for scholarships from foreign Universities such as in the US and Australia. The Faculty is actively seeking foreign partners for cooperation in master's programs as well as in postdoctoral ones in which degrees are granted by both parties.
