In 2014, the Faculty of Finance and Banking (FFB) – University of Economics and Law (UEL) was assessed by the ASEAN University Network (AUN). This is the network of leading universities in the South East Asian region which was established in November 1995 to boost the cooperation and enhance the education and research quality as well as lecturer and student exchanges between nations in the network. 

On December 10, the Vietnam National University (VNU) organized the fourth Education Quality Conference to review the quality assurance in VNU for the period 2011-2015 and propose plan and strategy for the period 2016-2020. The conference plays an important role in the development and international integration of VNU. In the very occasion, the FFB UEL was awarded the AUN-QA certificate. This is the recognition of the effort and determination of all FFB members, together with the valuable support of the UEL Board of Management and departments.

From now on, the certificate of graduation of FFB full-time bachelors from batch 2011 will include the information announcing the program was successfully assessed by AUN-QA. This means FFB students will have more career opportunities, not only in Vietnam but also all over the South East Asian region. In addition, FFB students can also follow programs at other AUN member universitiesunder credit transfer system.

This event is an evidence for the student-centered education method of the FFB and also a motivation for the Faculty to continue their training of knowledgeable and moral students with professional skills that meet increasing demand for high-quality human resource by domestic and foreign companies.
