The finance and banking program of the Faculty of Finance and Banking (FFB) is one of the first two programs of the University of Economics and Law (UEL) to be assessed by the ASEAN University Network (AUN). This is the most well-known and prestigious assessment system on the quality of training in South East Asia. This is an opportunity for the FFB to evaluate the quality of teaching and training for more than 12 years of development.  

The assessment started on December 10, 2014 and lasts for 3 days with the participation of two assessors, including:

1.Prof. Wan Ahmad Kamil Mahmood, Dean, School of Chemical Sciences Universiti Sains Malaysia

2. Prof. Raymund Sison De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines

In the morning of December 10, the assessors worked with the Vietnam National University (VNU) and UEL’s Boards of Management, FFB Dean and Vice Dean, Head of Department of Finance, and Head of Department of Banking. In the afternoon, the assessors had a campus tour, visited FESE 11, the CEFR and interviewed support and academic staff.

On December 11, the assessors will have meetings with students, alumni and employers who includes financial management, securities, banking, auditing leading in Vietnam and conduct a closed meeting on the assessment result.

Preliminary result will be announced in the morning of December 12. The UEL’s Board of Management, FFB Dean and Vice Dean will have a discussion with the assessment team on the assessment result. Final assessment result will be announced in three months.
